Last night I attended Pepper Nix & Mitch Burt’s annual Halloween Bash, and it was absolutely fun! It was thrown for the photographers in the area, and it was so nice to just mingle and relax for the night with familar faces (and also the new ones)! The food was amazing, catered by Culinary Crafts! Karoake was available (which I took plenty advantage of). And of course, there was the infamous photobooth from Foto Cabina. I am a sucker for photobooths. Seriously, every wedding should have one of these. And if your wedding DOES have one, give me a call so I can come crash it!
Everyone came dressed in their Halloween attire. Some may say I didn’t, but I did. But because I’ve been so busy with work and my trip to Kentucky- I didn’t get a chance to get a great costume together. So I did what I could and attended the party as………………………………. (drumroll please)
a Canon user. Yes, this Nikon girl crossed over to the other side for one night! That’s me in my “costume” with Kelli Bramble.

And oddly enough, with all the photographers present at tonight’s event, not many cameras were around. So the only photos I can post up here are all from the photobooth. And that’s all that matters anyway, right?
Here’s a photo of my most favorite, favorite, favorite costume of the night: Bret Michaels and Daisy from Rock of Love. (Randy & Kelsie Despain)

My other favorite costume belonged to Joanna Taylor. Why? Because she came as ME. She sported the huge sunglasses and a sign that read “Hey have you been to the photobooth yet? Because I haven’t…” It’s a phrase I often say so people feel more inclined to jump in and snap some shots with me! This is her below, doing her best “Sheryll-in-the-photobooth” imitation. Personally, I think she nailed it in the first two photos!

Here are a few more photos from the night! I say a “few” because honestly there were about 30… I told you. I LOVE PHOTOBOOTHS! And I think it’s safe to say that photographers in front of the camera know how to rock it…especially in small & confined spaces.

Thank you, Pepper and Mitch! Too bad these are only once a year!
